Since 2024, I have served as a Teaching Mentor for The Graduate School's Teaching Assistantship Program. This includes collaborating with fellow Teaching Mentors for the 2024 and 2025 Teaching Assistant Orientation, leading sessions focused on teaching persona, group work, effective feedback, and School of Education frameworks, and facilitating additional engagement opportunities throughout the school year.
During the 2024-2025 school year, I served as a graduate representative for the School of Education Assembly. This includes attendance at monthly assembly meetings, representing the graduate student body in school-wide votes, reviewing assembly materials, and sharing out information to the Graduate Student Council.
During December 2025-February 2024, I served as a Graduate Dialogue Facilitator for Orange Dialogue, a weekend long retreat in January-February for Indigenous and non-Indigenous students to build positive relationships, engage outdoor recreation, engage dialogue to address needs, concerns, fears, and hopes, and develop tangible action plans for a more inclusive campus and society.
